Localization Working Group ToR
In light of Grand Bargain commitments, in line with the Humanitarian Country Team Localization strategy and as part of Child Protection Area of Responsibility (CP AoR) priorities, the CP AoR in Myanmar is implementing a localization initiative, to strengthen the involvement and influence of local actors in the work of CP AoR and to ensure equitable opportunities for them in leadership roles.
Child Protection AoR Localization Dashboard

This dashboard has been developed for establishing a baseline to track progress of CP AoR towards localization.

The dashboard will sensitize child protection coordination group in Myanmar to the issues of localization.

The dashboard provides the basis to create an action plan towards increasing meaningful participation of local and national actors.
Inter-agency toolkit on localisation in humanitarian coordination
The Toolkit on Localisation in Humanitarian Coordination supports humanitarian coordinators, co-leads and partners to invest in local and national actors’ participation and leadership in coordination in diverse humanitarian settings. Importantly, the toolkit also provides specific resources for local and national actors to strengthen their capacity to influence and play leadership roles in coordination fora. This toolkit aims to be the go-to resource for localisation across a range of clusters and humanitarian coordination structures, with tools relevant to a wide range of practitioners.
